CROSBY -- Clarence Raymond Davis, 55, Crosby, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center of Crosby.
He was born Oct. 26, 1944, in Minneapolis to Charles Albert and Yvonne (Tunker) Davis II. He married Shirley C. Renecker on Nov. 26, 1970, in St. Paul. He was an Army veteran and a sergeant with the HHC-1/194th National Guard Infantry in Brainerd. He was a member of the Myrin James American Legion Post No. 443 of Ironton. He was a dispatcher at Deerwood Lumber Co.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Davis, Deerwood; two daughters, Sheila Davis, Brainerd, and Toni Davis, Crosby; two grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Davis III, Portland, Ore., Jimmy Davis, Brooklyn Center, and Thomas Davis-Cambell, Hopkins; and four sisters, Nancy Shaw, Seattle, Jeanette Malmin, Brooklyn Center, Rose Davis, New Orleans, and Bonnie Davis, Minneapolis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Koop Funeral Home of Crosby with Chaplain Randy Wendt officiating. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery of Camp Ripley with full military rites.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and an hour before services Wednesday at Koop Funeral Home of Crosby.
