Adult volunteer of the month

Hometown: Little Falls; has lived in Brainerd for the last 26 years.

Family: Husband Doug, three children, two grandchildren

Volunteer activities: St. Joseph's Medical Center - volunteers twice a week, one day as clerical work for maintenance and one day in the Cancer center helping cancer patients, providing comfort and passing out snacks.

I volunteer because: I like to assist in meeting other needs and seeing others smile.

My most rewarding volunteer experience: When I see patients who are worried and I can help them calm down and bring a smile to their faces.
