KERKHOVEN - The defending Class 1A state champion Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunberg Fighting Saints rushed for 269 yards on their way to a 20-6 victory over the Pillager Huskies Thursday.
Pillager's Jordan Hunstad scored from 17 yards out in the fourth quarter for the Huskies' lone score.
Hunstad finished with 40 yards on 15 carries. He also went 7-of-14 for 63 yards and one interception.
Pillager's Greg Flickinger rushed for 77 yards.
Charlie Arnzen recovered a fumble for the Huskies.
Joel Bauman of KMS rushed for 217 yards and one touchdown.
