Pierz powers past Hibbing 41-0

PIERZ - John Omann had a 30-yard touchdown reception to go along with 8 carries for 75 yards and another touchdown igniting the Pierz Pioneers to a season-opening 41-0 rout over the Hibbing Blue Jackets Thursday.

The Pioneers racked up 328 rushing yards with Cody Stangl, Jake Nelson and Mitch Woitalla and tallying rushing touchdowns. Jesse Nordmann had one in the second half.
