Kellie Barnaby had a hand in all three of Brainerd's goals against Alexandria.

BAXTER - With two assists and one goal, Kellie Barnaby played a role in each of the Brainerd Warriors' goals in Thursday's 3-0 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Alexandria Cardinals.

The Warriors, who entered the game winless in three attempts, also received goals from Alese Waters and Kate Anderholm as Brainerd scored for the first time this season.

"It's good for the girls to get their first win under their belt," Warriors coach Sara Rojas said. "It was a huge win to come in their conference opener."

Brainerd's Cami Andersen deflected each of the three shots she faced.
