Neighborhood fight sends 2 to hospital, 4 arrested
A neighborhood dispute over an all-terrain-vehicle complaint Sunday night north of Brainerd turned into a brawl as four people were arrested and two others suffered minor injuries and were treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department.

She was an avid bowler, gardener, and loved being with her family.

A reminder of simpler gun days
WASHINGTON - Not long ago, I brought my gun to Realco Guns for cleaning. It is a vintage, J.C. Higgins .22-caliber rifle that my dad purchased from Sears around 1964. We belonged to a father-and-son club in my home town, Shreveport, La., and this was the gun we used whenever the group went out to shoot at tin cans.

Like George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan began the final two years of his presidency at low ebb. In the November 1986 election, Democrats recaptured a Senate majority, providing them complete control of Congress for the first time in Reagan's presidency.
