A former Jamestown, N.D., man will take over this week as store manager of the Montgomery Wards Department Store here. Wendell Fristedt will assume the duties of store manager later this week.
40 years ago (1963)
During its 10 years of existence, the blood bank has helped thousands of patients at the hospital because of the availability of whole blood and plasma. Statistics compiled by the hospital show that there have been 7,030 whole blood and 213 plasma transfusions during the 10-year period.

In municipal court Saturday afternoon three men were found guilty of shooting game out of season and paid fines of $10 each. These men were arrested by Deputy Game Warden A.P. Cardle.
