Legionville Camp-O-Ree this weekend

Brainerd American Legion Post No. 255 will host the 33rd annual Legionville Camp-O-Ree Friday through Sunday at the Legionville School Patrol Training Center located on North Long Lake near Brainerd.

Minnesota Legionnaires and their families are urged to bring their campers, tents, motor homes or other camping units and camp out on the Legionville grounds near the lake.

Dormitory space is available for non-campers, but linens and blankets must be furnished by the individual.

Camping fee for the event is $12 per person (16 years and older) for those arriving on Thursday. Friday registration is $11 per person and $6 per person for Saturday arrivals. Children 3-15 years old pay $2 each for any day registration and those 3 years and younger are free.

Thursday evening will feature a steak fry. Bar bingo and a meat raffle will be offered Friday afternoon followed by the 10th District Pork Feed at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Friday night's entertainment will include karaoke in the barn for the adults while the children enjoy movies and popcorn.

Saturday morning starts will breakfast in the dining hall.
