The Hunt Family performs original, Celtic, bluegrass, inspirational and popular tunes, offering a unique blend of diversity to every show.

The Hunts have produced and recorded five albums. Their latest CD, "Hearts Held High," features eight new and original compositions.

The ensemble, which has performed four U.S. tours, made its national television debut on "The Tony Danza Show." The group has appeared several times at the World Championships for Irish Dance in Ireland, Scotland and Philadelphia.

The fundraising event will benefit student scholarships at CLC and the college's new Random Acts of Kindness Fund for student emergencies and students who are at risk of dropping out due to unexpected financial difficulties.

Pam Thomsen, director of resource development and the CLC Foundation, said "Whether it's dealing with the high cost of transportation, heating costs, child care, car repairs, text books and necessary equipment, the fund provides much-needed assistance to help the students succeed in college. These unexpected costs can impact the students' ability to complete college and secure a better future for themselves and their families. Last year the fund awarded over $28,000 to students for textbooks and financial emergencies."
