Gene "Ghost" Howard White, age 64, resident of Brainerd, went to ride free in heaven Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, after a long and courageous health battle.
Gene was born Nov. 20, 1944, in Bigfork, Minn., to Howard White and Grace Kinn. He had a passion for life and loved his family and friends with all of his heart. He enjoyed Harleys, hot rods, cribbage, pool, Twins baseball and classic rock-and-roll music. Our U.S. military always held a special place in his heart. Gene's greatest legacy will be his sense of humor and determination. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
