Royalton rolls past Dixon, Pillager

PILLAGER -- Travis Dixon scored two touchdowns and rushed for 103 yards as the Pillager Huskies lost to the Royalton Royals 43-20 in a non-conference football opener Thursday.

Luke Ringler scored the other Pillager touchdown on a 24-yard run. Ringler rushed for 99 yards.

Royalton's Brandon Wiener rushed for 173 yards on only 12 carries, including two 70-yard touchdowns. Matt Gottwalt scored on runs of 35 yards and 1 yard for Royalton.
