Bertha Stetler
Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Stetler passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village. She was born Dec. 7, 1917, in South Dakota to Albert and Lydia Miller. She married Charles Stetler on March 22, 1948, in South Dakota. They moved to the Lake Hubert area in 1948 and had lived there since. She was a member of the Nisswa Evangelical Free Church, Lake Hubert Women's Club and a charter member, 55 years, of the Lake Hubert Grange.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Kathleen (John) Russell and Pauline Young, of Nisswa, Mrs. Winnifred (Gary) Dudycha of Hopkins; one son, James, of Pequot Lakes; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, son Larry, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Christ Community Church with Pastor Dwight Johnson officiating. Internment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to services.
