The Baxter City Council last night approved a water extension agreement with Brainerd designed to provide water to the new sweatshop racquetball and fitness club in Southeast Baxter.

The Brainerd State Junior College Red Raider football team has been revived after a 14-year lapse. Paul Belgum, line coach; Don Thompson, head coach; Bob Johnson, backfield coach and Terry Larson, Athletic Director.

The inspections are over at the new Federal Building at Fifth and Laurel Streets and offices located in the east end of the building are being filled by federal agencies.

Brainerd's tax levy was sliced last night for the second consecutive year as the city council voted to levy 22.75 mills on taxable property during 1940, as compared to 23.5 in 1939.
