Registration deadline is Friday. Cost is $25 for community center members per session and $35 for non-members per session. Scholarships are available.

People with severe joint problems or who have had joint surgery are encouraged to check with their doctors about the need for precautions. It is not necessary to know how to swim.

The recreational program provides an opportunity for people with arthritis to meet others who also have arthritis and to have fun. The gentle movements can help relieve pain and stiffness caused by arthritic conditions.

Fifty Lakes Foundation to host spaghetti dinner

FIFTY LAKES -- The Fifty Lakes Foundation will hold its 28th annual spaghetti dinner fund-raiser 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 7 to 12, and free for children under age 7. Fifty Lakes Foundation volunteers will donate desserts. A top prize of $500 will be awarded at the raffle with the winner announced at 7 p.m.

The Fifty Lakes Foundation Clubhouse is on County Road 1 and Eagle Lake Road in Fifty Lakes.
