MINNEAPOLIS -- The Central Lakes College Raiders men's team won its second straight golf tournament in two days, this time with a team score of 314 Thursday at the Wirth Golf Course.
On Wednesday, Joe Sauers was the individual medalist. On Thursday it was Josh Kuha's turn as he won a playoff against teammate Eric Rowbottom. Both shot 77s to take first and second place while Sauers and Jeremy Medina shot 80s to tie for third place. Nick Dahl shot an 86.
Northland shot a 329 for second place followed by Bethany with a 325.
Sauers, who injured his wrist a year ago, re-injured it but finished 12 holes at 1-over-par. He will likely miss two weeks.
The women's team finished second behind Division II Bethany, which shot a 288. The Raiders shot a 298, led by Becky Schornack with a second-place 85. Tricia Jasmer shot a 92 and Carin Sorvik came in at 121.
The Raiders' next meet is Wednesday at Pebble Lake in Fergus Falls.
