Lester T. Sanders

OUTING -- Lester T. Sanders, age 97, of Outing, died on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on June 15, 1906, in Redfield, S.D., to Anton E. and Myrtle (Cranz) Sanders. He was a W.W.II Army Veteran and a member of the Narrows Community Church in Outing.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Teri Sanders of Mt. Shasta, Calif., and Terrance and Kay Sanders of Stillwater; daughter-in-law Shirley Sanders of Cambridge; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Darrell Sanders; wife Daisy; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 at the Narrows Community Church in Outing with the Rev. Stan Toole officiating. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
