Loretta Hansen

MINNEAPOLIS -- Loretta (Sowers) Hansen, age 69, of Minneapolis, died Friday at her home. Funeral services are being planned for Monday afternoon (Labor Day) at 1 p.m. in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Staples. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

Loretta was the daughter of Harold and Myrtle Sowers. On June 7, 1952, she married Magnus Hansen in Wadena. Together they lived and raised their family in south Minneapolis. She is survived by her two sons, Wally and Ronnie; brothers Everett, Leonard and Bernard Sowers; sisters Norma Jean and Eldora Mae; and four grandchildren.
