BELLE PRAIRIE - Mikayla Jorgensen assisted Julia Ploof in the first half as the Little Falls Flyers dropped their season opener to the Bemidji Lumberjacks 2-1 during non-conference play.
Flyers keeper Missy Von Itter turned away 24 of the Lumberjacks' 26 shots.
