WILLMAR - Erica Feldewerd finished with 19 kills and Rachel Pfeffer added 47 set assists for the Central Lakes College Raiders as they split their opening day of the Ridgewater Tournament in Willmar Friday.
The Raiders fell 3-0 to the Rock Valley Golden Eagles in the first round.
"It was a great introduction to college volleyball," Raiders coach Jane Peterson said. "We're a young team and it was a good way to start the season."
After a grueling first match, the Raiders bounced back and swept the Dawson Buccaneers in three sets.
Feldewerd finished with 13 digs, Pfeffer 10, and Kayla Atkinson 10.
