PROPERTY DAMAGE - Adam Hanson reported damage to his vehicle at 3:22 p.m. Thursday on the 7600 block of Excelsior Road.

Brainerd police

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Lori Howe reported at 6:30 p.m. Thursday that the passenger window of her vehicle was broken and a canvas bag was taken on the 600 block of Oak Street.

CRASH - A crash with no injuries was reported at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Oak and 28th streets.

INVESTIGATION - A man on the 200 block of North Seventh Street reported Thursday that he found gas caps were opened on vehicles parked at his apartment complex and he has been missing gasoline. He requested extra patrols.

THEFT - Dolores Kramer reported Thursday that flowers and a flower pot had been taken from a headstone at the cemetery.

Brainerd Public Utilities reported at 2:09 p.m. Thursday the theft of a Stihl cut-off saw taken between noon and 1 p.m. that day on the 1200 block of 14th Avenue Northeast.

FOUND - A backpack was found Thursday morning at Hitch Wayne Park off Vine Street.

INFORMATION - American National Bank, 1900 block of South Sixth Street, reported at 8:26 a.m. Thursday a broken glass door. Bank employees believed the door was broken because of ground shaking from nearby road construction and not vandalism.

Crow Wing sheriff

FOUND - A man reported at 7:36 a.m. Friday finding a vehicle in a swamp with no one else around east of County Road 45 near 100th Street in Long Lake Township.

Holiday Station on Excelsior Road in Baxter reported at 5 a.m. Friday finding a license plate in the car wash.

ARREST - A 28-year-old man was arrested Thursday night for criminal sexual conduct after a woman, who had reported being sexually assaulted, was being treated at the St. Joseph's Medical Center emergency room.

ROAD HAZARD - A man reported Thursday night a tree stump was in the road near County Roads 12 and 102 in Irondale Township.

DRIVING COMPLAINT - A motorist reported at 9:55 p.m. Thursday that an older RV was traveling southbound on Highway 371 near Wise Road with no tail lights.

DISTURBANCE - Deputies were called at 8:48 p.m. Thursday to a home in Unorganized Territory for a verbal disagreement between a mother and daughter. Deputies spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved for the night.

MEDICAL - An ambulance was called at 7:05 p.m. Thursday for a 1-month-old with difficulty breathing.

INFORMATION - A father reported Thursday that his son was mistreated by his mother Wednesday night.

The girlfriend of a Long Lake property owner reported Thursday night that a subject, the ex-wife of the property owner, was trespassing on the property on the 11000 block of 70th Street. Deputies spoke with the property owner and he will be taking care of the matter.

A man reported Thursday night that two parties "peeled" out of the 27700 block of East Bass Lake Road in Mission Township and covered them in mud. The caller called back and stated that the deputy can cancel the call because the subjects apologized.

A woman reported Thursday night that her 21-year-old son was damaging the house on the 20600 block of Cadwell Avenue in Unorganized Territory.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - A crash without injuries was reported at 5:35 p.m. Thursday in the SuperAmerica parking lot in Merrifield.

Craig Gildenzopf reported at 5:46 a.m. Thursday hitting a dear on County Road 3 in Lake Edward Township with front end damage to the vehicle.

INFORMATION - A report was received at 5:30 p.m. Thursday of a boater towing three kids on tubes with no observer or mirror on pontoon.

The Crow Wing County Auditor's Office reported at 3:23 p.m. Thursday that The Lodge at Piney Ridge in Pine River has not submitted evidence of liquor liability covered past 12:01 a.m. Aug. 8. The license was to be removed at midnight Thursday.

THEFT - Jamie Vogt reported Thursday the theft of CDs from the 4600 block of Gull Lake Dam Road.

Ronald Bouma reported Thursday that a Cuddeback game camera was taken from a bear bait station in the Stewart Lake area.
