BAXTER - Kelly Rosenthal scored three goals and the Brainerd Warriors defense held the Sartell Sabres to just four shot attempts in Thursday's 5-0 Central Lakes Conference girls' soccer victory.
Cami Andersen stopped all four of those attempts to register her second shutout in three career varsity games.
"She's playing very well," said Warrior head coach Steve Kimble. "She's a sophomore replacing the two senior keepers we had last year. With that, we as a team understand, let's not let our sophomore keeper see a lot of shots. We have 10 people that have that responsibility and they've done well, too. Elle Adams in the middle of our defense is doing a good job of organizing our defense."
Rosenthal opened the scoring at 10:19. Emily Olson followed with a goal at 34:38 and Rosenthal and Britta Nelson closed out the first half scoring.
