LITTLE FALLS -- Phyllis Ruthann Morgan, daughter of Joe and Mary Jo Morgan, age 24, of Little Falls, Minn., died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, as a result of an auto accident near Rice, Minn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, Minn., with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, at the Brenny-Simonet Funeral Home, East Chapel, in Little Falls, Minn. Parish Prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, at the Brenny-Simonet Funeral Home, East Chapel, in Little Falls, Minn.
Phyllis Ruthann was born on Oct. 29, 1980, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to Joe and Mary Jo Morgan. She graduated from Norman County West High School in 1999. She attended Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minn. Phyllis was an artist, a performer and student of the theater. She spent several enjoyable years as a member of the "Straw Hat Players" in Moorhead, Minn. In 2002 and 2003, Phyllis directed the "Little Falls Community School Spring Musicals." She was currently working as an assistant stage manager for the Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis, Minn.
She is survived by her parents, Joe and Mary Jo Morgan of Little Falls, Minn.; sisters Mandy and Elizabeth Morgan, both of Little Falls, Minn.; grandmothers Phyllis Yancey of Alexandria, Va., and Many Morgan of Kirbyville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers.
Arrangements are with the Brenny-Simonet Funeral Home, East Chapel, in Little Falls, Minn.
