Warriors' Pigskin Preview Saturday

The public is invited to the second annual Pigskin Preview scrimmage from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Adamson Field at Brainerd High School.
Brainerd will host Apple Valley, Chaska and Grand Rapids.
Each team will scrimmage the other three for approximately an hour. Varsity and sophomore teams will scrimmage.
Concessions will be available. Following the scrimmage the Brainerd Warriors Football Association will provide a bratwurst feed for all players.
Through Aug. 31, Warrior players are selling Champions Choice Varsity Gold Cards for $20. All funds generated will assist the Warriors' football program, grades 6-12.
Eighth-grade gear checkout
Boys interested in playing Brainerd eighth grade football this fall may check out gear on Monday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Forestview Middle School brick maintenance building.
Players will need to have completed all forms and present a paid emergency card to check out gear and practice.
An additional checkout will be held after school on Sept. 8 at 3:15 p.m.
First practice will be after school Sept. 9.
