Two at-large candidates file for Brainerd posts

Incumbent Bob Olson and newcomer Mike Brusseau filed for two Brainerd City Council at-large posts Friday. Both had announced their candidacies earlier.
Their filings create a six-person field, with the posts going to the top two vote-getters. Filing earlier were Mark O'Day, Andrea Lipovetz, Jan Lambert and David Colvin.
Other Brainerd City Council candidates who have filed include Jim Sykes and Kevin Goedker in Ward 3 and Robert Fitzsimmons and Lucy Nesheim in Ward 1.
