Jessica Lindsey remained in critical condition Tuesday at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported.
Jessica, celebrating her sixth birthday Sunday at Whipple Beach Park in Baxter, was found by family members face down in the water 60-75 feet from shore.
Bystanders at the beach performed CPR prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. She was taken by North Ambulance to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and then airlifted to Minneapolis.
The family has set up a CaringBridge Web site, caringbridge.org/visit/jessicalindsey, to allow people to monitor Jessica's condition.
There were three journal entries on the Web site Tuesday afternoon.
