Forty-four Kinship adult and junior partners climbed aboard a comfy Reichert Bus and headed down to the Science Museum of Minnesota where they viewed the new "Animal Grossology" exhibit, watched a film in the Omnitheater called "Bears," ate lunch in the cafeteria, and still had time to explore many other interesting displays. Thank you to the adult partners who helped chaperone and especially to Trus Joist for making this day possible.

Little Falls man faces another prostitution charge
A rural Little Falls man who in May was charged with promoting prostitution at the Camp Bar near Camp Ripley was arrested Thursday for once again allegedly promoting prostitution there.

PILLAGER -- Kris Buscho (Simons), age 43, of Pillager, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at her home after a battle with cancer. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Casino Assembly of God Church in Pillager with a viewing one hour before the service at church. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.

PILLAGER -- Robert P. Blake, age 79, of Pillager, died peacefully in the arms of his beloved wife of 53 years Aug. 25, 2005. He was a WWII U.S. Navy vet, retired from the Postal Service.

Open Forum
With today's high prices for gas, why don't any of the gas stations in Brainerd/Baxter carry the E85 fuel? I know that not all vehicles are able to use this high ethanol level fuel, but there are enough of these vehicles in the area that should warrant at least a couple of stations to carry E85.
