Beatrice D. Newman
NISSWA -- Beatrice Delores Newman, age 71, resident of Port Isabel, Texas, and summer resident of Nisswa, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Beatrice was born on Oct. 1, 1932, in Milaca to Earl and Mae (Pearson) Faulkner. She was an American Legion Auxiliary Marching Member of the Color Guard.
Survivors include her husband, Jim, of Port Isabel; daughter, Trish Rickmeyer, of Nisswa; son, Tim Majerus, of Brainerd; mother, Mae Poster, of Floodwood; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Virg Faulkner; sister, Doris Perrson; brother, Earl Faulkner; brother, Philip Poster; sisters, Teri Hougen and Sue Johnston.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa with Father George Zeck officiating. Luncheon will follow services at the Nisswa American Legion. Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
