Remove caterpillars from ornamental trees

Examine ornamental trees for small nests of caterpillars in the crotches of branches.

These fall webworms, appearing now, should be removed before they grow large and eat tree leaves.

Spray with Bt, a biological control, or remove and bag webs containing caterpillars.
