BIR bathrooms
BIR personnel have been bragging about all the improvements they have done at the track, the on-site condos, a playground and their own bar. What really needs improving are the flush toilets. That is more important than any of the other items mentioned above. Most of the weekend the flush toilets were not working and the building locked up. Other NHRA race tracks I have been to have nice bathroom facilities. Dirty portable toilets are not pleasant to use.
Do not feed the deer
For years the DNR has fostered increased numbers in the deer herd through "bucks only" hunting licensure. This was entirely a "greed thing" producing more money through increased licensure of hunters. Any biologist will tell you that increased population of any species leads to increased chances of disease. But after they artificially increase the population, they use the excuse of "overpopulation" to justify the annual deer slaughter. Now they seek to punish property owners who genuinely enjoy the company of, and get this, "live deer." Legal or not, I'm going to feed them until I run out of money.
Voo-doo math
Councilman Gary Scheeler is hiring Bob Olson to be a consultant. Do you think he stopped into either Hardware Hank or Buffalo Run to see how well they were operated? Olson's voodoo math must not work in the real world. I think they should grow up and rethink their committee stance also. Do the whole job or resign.
