Bridges of Hope seeks the community's support to reach this year's campaign goal of $75,000.
Bridges of Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that links families to the community resources that can help them thrive and gain hope.
A fundraiser is planned from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Prairie Bay restaurant. The cost is $15.

Civil service panel to meet Friday
The Brainerd Police and Fire Civil Service Commission will meet at 10 a.m. Friday at Brainerd City Hall to certify the sergeant eligibility list, receive a status report on updating the police officer eligibility list and to discuss alternative testing and/or dates for future eligibility lists.
Ski Gull fall fundraiser Sept. 25
Ski Gull will host its annual fall fundraiser from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at The Lodge of Brainerd Lakes, Baxter. Tickets are $40 in advance, $50 at the door and 18 and under are free. The night includes food and beverage tasting, silent auction, fun carnival games and raffles.
