Coors Lite/Schroeder's wins Masters Championship

Coors Lite/Schroeder's of Brainerd won the season-ending tournament with four straight wins Aug. 13 in the Brainerd Masters Tournament for 35 and over softball players.
In the first game Coors Lite/Schroeder's beat Brainerd Softwater 24-1. In Game 2, Coors Lite/Schroeder's stopped Twisted Rose 17-16. Twisted Rose had the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning but couldn't score the tying or winning runs.
Coors Lite/Schroeder's then defeated Bar Harbor 14-7 and Clow Stamping 19-8 for the league championship.
Leading hitters for Coors Lite/Schroeder's were Chuck Schroeder 1.000, Kevin Uselman .800 (2 home runs), Chris Holm, Dan Pettit and Randy Russell all at .750, and Mark Wolhart .733 (3 home runs).
