Lois Goodyear

FIFTY LAKES -- Lois Goodyear, 74, Fifty Lakes, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at her home in Fifty Lakes.

Lois was born Nov. 23, 1925, in Baton Rouge, La., to Theodore and Irene (Dunbar) Clements. She moved to Fifty Lakes with her parents in 1932. She graduated from Pine River High School. She worked at the IGA Store in Crosslake for 23 years until her retirement. She was a volunteer at the food shelf.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Dickson, Maplewood, and Cindy Murphy, Fifty Lakes; and two grandchildren.

Her parents died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Crosslake Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Emily Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake.
