CROSBY -- LaVern Amundson, 74, Crosby, died Aug. 25, 2000, in Minneapolis.
LaVern was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Bricelyn to Ted and Alma Elsie (White) Amundson. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Dona Amundson; three sons, Larry Amundson, Isanti, Ted Amundson, Cambridge, and James Amundson, Brooklyn Center; one daughter, Ruth Willms, Minnetonka; two sisters, Delores Stencel, Crosby, and Val Beck, Crosby; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His parents and one brother, DuWayne, died earlier.
Services will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday in the Crosby Memorial Park.
