Where in the world is Gary?

In his latest adventure to raise funds for Kinship Partners, Gary Walters and his son, Jackson, are Rollerblading to Washington, D.C.

Check out his progress through Saturday (The Walters took Sunday off): The Walters decided against Rollerblading through Chicago because of the problems Gary has had skating through metro areas. They found a 21-mile bike trail around Chicago and plan to stay on back roads. Also, another day with no crashes.

Miles traveled: 41 miles.

Total miles traveled: 527 miles.

Total funds raised: $6,716 in donations.

Daily destination reached: The border of Illinois and Indiana.

Mile musings: "Once off the bike trail we headed southerly to make our way to the Indiana border. Jackson and I had our passports so we were ready to make the crossing. Even with proper identification we headed for the back roads to make our assault on our next state. (Three) down and many more to go."
