GLENCOE (AP) -- McLeod County residents who plan to get hitched or travel out of the country will have to go elsewhere to get a marriage license or passport.
Because of the strike by McLeod County clerical workers, the county's license bureau in Glencoe will be closed until further notice, said County Administrator Nan Crary.
Residents who need a marriage license or passport should go to a neighboring county, Crary said.
About 60 county workers went on strike early Tuesday after rejecting a new contract offer.
