Rollerblader dies after being struck by vehicle

PEQUOT LAKES - A man Rollerblading on the Paul Bunyan Trail on Sunday morning was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Crow Wing County Road 107, the Pequot Lakes Police Department reported.

The crash happened about 10 a.m., where the trail crosses the county road, also known as Wilderness Drive.

Police didn't release the names of the victim Sunday, but described him as a middle-aged man.

Assisting the police department was the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department, the Nisswa Police Department, the State Patrol and North Ambulance.
