Catherine C. Seibert

CROSSLAKE - Catherine Caroline Seibert, age 77, Crosslake, Minn., died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at St. Cloud Hospital.

Catherine was born May 11, 1930, in Minneapolis to Herbert and Vera (McCrae) Freeberg. She grew up in Minneapolis. During World War II, Catherine and her two sisters moved with their mother to the St. Cloud/Sauk Rapids area. They lived with Catherine's grandmother while her father was employed by the United States Army in Edmonton, Canada. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1948. On Aug. 2, 1953, Catherine married Robert Seibert in Seattle.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Seibert, of Crosslake, Minn.; daughter, Stephanie (Carl) Alelyunas, of West Linn, Ore.; sisters, Patricia (George) Anderson, of Billings, Mont., Sandra (Robert) Western, of Laurel, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no funeral services. Arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, Minn.
