George Shorba

CHANHASSEN -- George Paul Shorba, 91, St. Louis Park, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, in St. Louis Park.
He was born Jan. 1, 1911, in Czechoslovakia. He was retired from Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. with 48 years of service.
Survivors include two sons, George D. Shorba and Donald Shorba; one daughter, Sharon Bergstrom; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Bernice, died earlier.
Services will be 6 p.m. today at St. Hubert Catholic Community Church in Chanhassen. Burial will be in St. Hubert Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the church.
Arrangements are with Huber Funeral Home in Eden Prairie.
