Gerald 'Jerry' Olson

MOTLEY - Gerald "Jerry" Olson, 67, of Motley, formerly of Pequot Lakes, Minn., died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at the Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples, Minn.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Marjorie, of Motley; daughters, Deborah Olson, of Motley, Minn., and Brenda (James) Finn, of Mantorville, Minn.; brother, Dennis (Karen) Olson, of Anoka, Minn.; sisters, Colleen Mellgren, of Blair, Neb., and Cynthia (Myrun) Gish, of Pequot Lakes, Minn.; two grandsons, Taylor and Brady Finn.

Services begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at Maple Hill Lutheran Church near Pine River with burial at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Kline Funeral Home of Pine River is in charge of the arrangements.

The family prefers memorials.
