PIERZ - Horizon Health will host a ribbon cutting ceremony from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 6 at its new office in Pierz to celebrate its newest assisted-living Harmony House that will also host its headquarters office.
The new Harmony House will house 22 residents, including those with Alzheimer's and other memory care needs. Along with the residential units, the facility will include community spaces, a reflection area, a sun room and a memory garden. The lower level of the facility will provide a permanent headquarters for Horizon Health, which is currently operating out of a 125-year-old St. Joseph's convent that is set to be demolished.
Approximately $475,000 was raised in private donations and grants to build a new Harmony House, which will open in September.
A luncheon for invited guests and donors will follow the brief ribbon cutting.
