CROSSLAKE -- To generate funds for the annual fireworks display in Crosslake, the Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce held an area-wide raffle for the chance to win an Arctic Cat 375 Automatic 4x4.
Saturday, a winner was drawn out of hundreds of raffle tickets. Bob Westlund of Crosslake was presented the prize at Roach's Lawn & Marine, Crosslake.
More than $16,500 was raised in 2002 to support the fireworks display. Dollars were collected through donations in "firecracker" containers throughout Crosslake retail stores, raffle ticket sales and from direct financial contributions, including donations from the Crosslake/Ideal Lions and the city of Crosslake.
