Marie Andrews

CROSBY -- Marie Andrews, 86, Crosby, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at Cuyuna Regional Care Center of Crosby.

She was born Oct. 12, 1913, in Walden Township to George and Sigrid (Ylen) Newman. She married Earl LeRoy Andrews on July 1, 1928, in Crosby. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Crosby.

Survivors include four sons, Wayne Andrews, Ironton, Roger Andrews and Ronald Andrews, both of Brooklyn Park, and Tim Andrews, Brainerd; a daughter, Linda West, Flint, Mich.; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, three sons, Vernon, Charles and William Andrews, a daughter, Lois Wunderlich, three grandchildren, two brothers, Floyd Newman and Preston Newman, and a sister, Gladys Erwin, died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Crosby with the Rev. Paul Mattson officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery of Crosby.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Koop Funeral Home of Crosby and an hour before services Friday at the church.
