Snyder finishes second
SAUK CENTRE -- Trent Snyder, Ironton, raced his Chevy Monte Carlo to a second place finish in the ASA Super Late Model feature Saturday at I-94 Raceway. D.J. Dondelinger, Brainerd, finished 12th and Scott Atkinson, Little Falls, finished 16th.
In their heat races, Snyder won his, Atkinson placed fourth and Dondelinger finished sixth.
Area racers donate winnings
North Central Speedway regular racers Jamie Morgan, Dave Mass and Jerry Esler were among several racers who donated their winnings July 23 for Rett Syndrome at Princeton Speedway.
The daughter of Wissota Super Stock racer Ken Puckett, who regularly races at Princeton, died July 4 from complications of Rett Syndrome.
Mass won the Super Stock feature that night.
Johnson finishes fifth
ALEXANDRIA -- Ron Johnson, Brainerd, finished fifth in a Wissota Street Stock feature Aug. 7 at Alexandria Viking Speedway. Earlier he finished third in his heat race.
