RANDALL -- An elderly couple from Randall were killed after the vehicle they were in pulled out in front of a vehicle occupied by four teenagers, the State Patrol said.
The accident happened at Highway 10 and Morrison County Road 14 near Randall at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday.
Oren Miller, 89, and his passenger, Margaret Miller, 83, both of Randall, were killed as a result of the crash. Neither were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the second vehicle, Karlo Wuollet, 16, Cokato, and his passengers, Darrin Hoikka, 15, and Perry Simonson, 16, both also of Cokato, all suffered minor injuries and were treated at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls. Another passenger, Eric Raisanen, 16, Dassel, suffered a broken collarbone and also was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital. The four teens were wearing their seat belts, the State Patrol said.
According to the State Patrol, Hoikka's vehicle was southbound on Highway 10 when Miller's vehicle pulled out in front of Hoikka's vehicle, causing the accident.
