WALKER -- The following recently appeared in Cass County District Court:
Melissa Jean Johnson, 24, Walker, requested and received execution of a year and a day sentence pending against her. She was found in violation of probation she is serving for wrongfully obtaining assistance (theft). Restitution was reduced to a judgment.
Bradley David Smith, 41, Lake Shore, pleaded guilty to DUI. The judge ordered Smith to serve 10 days in jail and to pay a $500 fine.
Ronald James Hiller, 30, Pillager, pleaded guilty to obstructing the legal process with force or violence. The judge stayed all but time served and ordered Hiller to pay a $210 fine.
Alonzo Perry Collins (also known as Charles Collins), 37, Remer, was fined $1,000 and placed on probation for five years for fifth-degree controlled substance crime (possession).
Cindy Lee Collins, 36, Remer, was fined $500 and placed on five years probation for fifth-degree controlled substance crime (possession).
Philip Donald Baker, 29, Milaca, admitted violating probation he is serving for a lesser included third-degree burglary and was ordered to serve 105 days in jail, with credit for time served.
Joel B. Adkins, 42, Backus, was ordered to pay $689 restitution. He was sentenced earlier for receiving stolen property.
Daniel Curtis Green, 46, Longville, pleaded guilty to .10 or more DUI. He was fined $500 and ordered to serve 30 days in jail.
