Brainerd firefighters respond

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to an alarm at Brainerd Medical Center reported at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday.

There was no fire. A child had pulled the alarm, the fire department reported.

The department was called about 4:27 p.m. Tuesday as a safety precaution at a gas line break in the 10,000 block of Johnson Road while Xcel Energy fixed the line.

Crosby responds to structure fire

IRONTON -- The Crosby Fire Department responded to a structure fire about 8:55 p.m. Tuesday on Hematite Street in Ironton.

Information about the fire was unavailable from the fire department Tuesday. No injuries were reported, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported.
