One hurt in crash near CBIR

A girl suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident Thursday on Highway 371 at Colonel's Brainerd International Raceway.

The accident was reported to the State Patrol at 7:50 p.m.

One driver, 17-year-old Laura Kincaid, Staples, was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, then airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. She was listed in serious condition this morning in the intensive care unit.

The other driver, Thomas Todd, 72, South St. Paul, was not injured.

The Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Car, semi collide

One person suffered minor injures today in a car and semi truck collision on County Road 12, about a half mile from Highway 210.

The accident was reported to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department at 7:36 a.m.

The female driver of the car was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Her name and condition were not yet available.

The State Patrol assisted at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

One injured

LITTLE FALLS -- The Little Falls Police Department reported an accident at Moll Ford that resulted in one person who was transported Monday to St. Gabriel's Hospital.

Driver Anthony McElveen, 16, Little Falls, an employee at the company, started a 1983 pickup truck in the garage and did not push in the clutch. The truck jumped forward and pinned Dylan Thomas, 23, Little Falls, against the wall.

Thomas was treated at the hospital and released.
