Mayor Clyde Gorham cast the deciding ballot at the city council meeting last night to name Harold Pitt alderman-at-large to replace the resigning Earl Wolleat.

They had a wedding dance at The Tavern Tuesday night and Sherm Levis says he's all for bigger and better wedding dances. They really have a good time at those affairs.

W.R. Hiller, manager of the Lyceum Theater, gave a picnic on Tuesday for the employees of his theater, at his lake cottage.
