WHAT: 19th annual Colonel's Truck Accessories NHRA Nationals, the 16th of 23 events in the $45 million NHRA Winston Drag Racing Series.

WHERE: The Colonel's Brainerd International Raceway, located on the east side of Highway 371, north of Brainerd.

WHEN: Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 17-20.

SCHEDULE:

THURSDAY, Aug. 17 -- Sportsman qualifying and time trials, 10 a.m.

FRIDAY, Aug. 18 -- Gates open at 8 a.m. Qualifying and sportsman eliminations, 9:15 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pro qualifying sessions at 1:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

SATURDAY, Aug. 19 -- Gates open at 7 a.m. Qualifying and sportsman eliminations, 9:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Pro qualifying sessions at 11:15 a.m. and 4 p.m.

SUNDAY, Aug. 20 -- Gates open at 8 a.m. Pre-race ceremonies, 9 a.m. Final eliminations begin at 10 a.m.

TELEVISION:

Thursday, Aug. 17, ESPN2 will televise NHRA Heat, a 30-minute event preview, at 5 p.m.; Sunday, Aug. 20, TNN will televise 90 minutes of final round coverage at 3:30 p.m.
