DEERWOOD - Woodblock prints, paintings and bird carvings by Fergus Falls artist Charles Beck will be featured through Sept. 16 at the Ripple River Gallery near Deerwood.
A reception is planned from 1-3 p.m. Sunday. Beck will talk about his work and show his process of developing a print.
The exhibit will include 15 woodblock prints completed in the last two years and new wood sculptures of blue herons and egrets.
Beck studied art at Concordia College in Moorhead and earned a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Iowa. He and his wife, Joyce, live in Fergus Falls.
The woodblock print "Daisies" is among the work by Charles Beck now on display at the Ripple River Gallery.

Fine arts festival scheduled in Crosby
CROSBY - The Serpent Lake Festival of Fine Art and Craft, including a juried art show, will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park in Crosby in conjunction with the annual Heritage Days festivities.
Artists from across Minnesota will display their original artwork. Featured art will include soaps, lotions, botanical body care, home furnishings, felted clothing and accessories, watercolors, wildlife art, stone sandblast art, chainsaw carvings, porcelain and stoneware pottery, ceramic household items, ceramic fish, sculpted bronze and copper jewelry and photography.
Food and beverages will be available.
